In collaboration with Maria Sole Peresin, Alice Sutcliffe, and Ellen Dotson we have developed an integrated platform using nanocellulose forest bioproducts (CNC) and ink-jet printers to develop a rapid pathogen detection test which can be printed on-demand in resource limited settings.

Through a CDC innovation fund (iFund) award we are optimizing this platform for the rapid detection of malaria parasites from mosquitoes. Read more about the project on the iFund page here.
