Several members of the DEET lab attended UGAs special symposium on VBDs this weekend. Kayleigh and Micaela presented posters on invasive species as disease facilitators and malaria vectors in Madagascar! Great work, team!

Aedes spp. mosquitoes are out and about and ready for peak feeding season along the Gulf in Alabama. Wear long sleeves, pants, and use DEET to protect yourselves! Victoria, Kayla, and Ben woke up bright and early this weekend to maximize capture time.
